Port Gaverne
Just a few minutes walk from The Philcot, Port Gaverne has very limited parking - making it a relatively peacful haven at the height of the season. The Port Gaverne Hotel is a regular meeting place for locals (and their dogs). There are pleasant short walks and views along The Main which can be accessed via steps from the beach at low tide.
If the return walk to Port Isaac looks too steep - check the bus times!
